Barrington Miles

Barrington Miles is an Austin-based entrepreneur, professional DJ, and music educator who has spent decades building community through music and entertainment. As the founder of Dub Academy, established in 2010, Miles created a space dedicated to preserving the art of DJing while providing students of all ages with hands-on education in DJ performance and music production. He is also the CEO and owner of Texas Professional Disc Jockey, an Austin-based entertainment company serving weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, and large-scale events throughout Texas and beyond.

Originally from Jamaica, Miles developed his craft while serving in the U.S. Army, DJing at events around the world before turning his passion into a career. Through Texas Pro DJ and Dub Academy, he has become a longtime contributor to Austin’s music community, combining professional entertainment, entrepreneurship, mentorship, and music education.

David Elliott

DJ Grip is a Houston-born DJ and producer who co-founded the Austin-based label Dollaz N Since with DJ Since in 2004. Together, they’ve released over 100 mixtapes across the South, including popular series like Down In Texas, Anti-Broke, and The Game Needs Us. Starting with playing guitar at age 12, Grip developed a love for diverse music genres, which now performing in bigger dance venues influences his open-format DJ sets that mix Hip Hop, EDM, Latin, and House music.
Playing a vast range of Festivals and Regional circuits, he’s shared the stage with artists like Snoop Dogg, Migos, Wiz Khalifa, UGK, Rick Ross, Nipsey Hussel, and Paul Wall, and spent four years as a top radio DJ in Austin. Today, he’s the Director at Dub Academy, where he mentors the next generation of DJs and Producers. "Giving back to the music community of Austin, that's given so much to me is the most important thing I can do."

Ethan Berdofe (Reue)
DJ, Producer, Audio Engineer
Ethan Reue Berdofe, raised in Austin, TX, has been pushing the boundaries of underground electronic music from a young age.
Known as a rising talent in his hometown, Reue honed his skills through various projects, including solo work, band collaborations, and studies at Berklee College of Music. By 2023, he had headlined shows in LA, London, and Medellin, and self released an impressive 16 singles.
Reue's accomplishments include six songs featured on Mau5trap's podcast, work in video game composition, and performances at major festivals like Lights All Night and Seismic. His debut EP "Acid Patch Kids" hit #7 on Beatport's techno charts, and after a residency in Europe he's back in Austin keeping it's culture of weird alive and well.

Sarah Supinski
(Saratonin)

Saratonin is an Austin-based DJ, producer, and educator with nearly a decade of experience in electronic music. Originally from Houston, her sound blends influences from hip-hop, dubstep, trap, and bass music. She has performed at festivals including Ubbi Dubbi, Freaky Deaky, ILLfest, Euphoria, and Sound Camp, and has released music through multiple electronic music labels.

As the founder of EDM Prosperity Network, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Saratonin is also dedicated to artist education, development, and community building. At Dub Academy, she brings her experience as a performer and producer into the classroom, helping students strengthen their DJ skills, musical curation, confidence, and individual creative style.
George Pettus

Producer, Pianist
George, a Grammy-nominated, Emmy-winning producer and musician from Southampton, NY, now based in Austin, TX, is the son of former MCA artist Giorge Pettus. Renowned for his collaborations with acclaimed artists, George has worked with 9th Wonder and Soul Council on Grammy-nominated albums by Rapsody featuring stars like Common and Childish Gambino. He produced Melba Moore's 2015 UK chart-topping R&B album and hit house track "I’m Just Doing Me."
Managed by 3-time Grammy nominee Terry Hunter, George has remixed for Beyoncé and Deborah Cox, contributed to Hulu’s Wu-Tang series, and helped score Netflix’s *Good Times*. His award-winning work on Netflix’s *Bubba Wallace: The Race* earned him an Emmy, and he holds a proclamation from Austin, TX, for his community contributions.

Danny Ritmo has opened for top Latin artists like Fuerza Regida and Grupo Duelo and has taken the stage as an MC for major events, including the Billboard stage at Austin City Limits and Rumbazo Fest in Las Vegas. His ability to engage diverse audiences has solidified his place in the Latin music scene.

DirtyJackie is known for her dark and unique DJ style that is both groovy and electrifying. Her experience with mixing over 6 years now, bringing energy to bars, clubs, and a variety of venues. she is skilled in specifically curating to a crowd and designing playlists for a multitude of different events.
As a true open format DJ, she is well versed in several genres, with focus in house, experimental bass, and bass house. She views DJing as an art form and a way of expressing herself in front of a crowd with sharing the beauty of music. Also a beginner level producer with songs in the works. She is excited to be part of the Dub Academy team and honored to share the space with many other creatives!

Eye Q has established herself as one of the best open-format DJs in the south. Based in Austin
TX, she has 10 years of experience behind the turntables. She has built a reputation for
captivating crowds by playing any genre & adjusting to any crowd. Eye Q has traveled and
played events in Miami, Dallas, Houston & Toronto to name a few.
In addition to multiple
residencies in downtown Austin, Eye Q has made a name for herself in the corporate world as

Brendan Carroll

Brendan Carroll, AKA Den Zuko, has been producing an eclectic mix of music for 14 years. After studying jazz saxophone in college and performing with countless bands as a freelancer, he immersed himself in the electronic music world, focusing on blending his very strong music theory chops with an ability to translate any sound from his head into a DAW.
He has taught woodwind, brass, percussion, piano, production, and theory for over a decade to students aged 5-65. He brings a deep technical knowledge developed from years of real world experience DJing, performing, and engineering as well as his degrees in audio engineering and digital composition to his lessons while focusing on clarity, creativity and practicality.

Ajah Monet, known for her versatility and creative mashups, brings a unique blend of Afrobeats, house, and hip-hop/R&B to her DJ sets. Inspired by her late best friend DJ DreDay and her brother’s passion for music, Ajah entered the DJ world headfirst a year ago and has quickly made a name for herself.
She loves sharing fresh tracks and genre-bending remixes with her audience, giving her students the tools to kickstart their DJ journey or elevate their hobby, all while having a blast. Ajah teaches with a blend of passion, expertise, and a dedication to making DJing both accessible and enjoyable.
Shani Hebert

DJ Shani’s passion for music began on Chicago’s South Side, where she was inspired by soul, funk, jazz, and house music. In 1999, she launched The Groove Temple® on WLUW 88.7 FM, helping keep Deep House alive on Chicago radio.

Her career includes music journalism, working at the legendary Gramaphone Records, performing internationally, and collaborating with acclaimed producers Glenn Underground and Jay-Cee. After moving to Austin in 2009, she became a respected force in the local music scene, earning three Best DJ nominations.

Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2013, DJ Shani has continued to build community through inclusive, ADA-accessible house music events. In 2022, she relaunched The Groove Temple on KUTX 98.9 FM, where she continues to share her signature sound and passion for house music.

DeMarcus “DmoCobb” Cobb is a Houston-raised, Austin-based DJ and music producer known for smooth transitions, deep music knowledge, and an instinctive ability to read a room in real time.
With more than a decade of experience playing clubs, festivals, private events, and corporate functions across Texas, his sets move between house, hip hop, R&B, and open format, building energy in waves and keeping the crowd locked in from start to finish.
He has opened for artists such as Walshy Fire, Habstrakt, and Kill The Noise, and his single “Show Me Luv Riddim,” a collaboration with Luny, was premiered worldwide on Anna Lunoe’s HYPERHOUSE show on Apple Music 1.
