__Overview
DJ 103 is extremely intense and this is where you will determine what type of DJ you wish to become.  103 revisits and adds upon the core mixing techniques that you have developed. Here we help you prepare your set by using group practice techniques, introducing the aspects of improvisation and time constraints, proper volume control & EQing to create smooth transitions. 103 Students are by Invitation Only by the Head Instructor. Students will be performing in a Club Environment  & Advanced 103 students will be performing at Clubs, Private functions, Weddings and Corporate Events.  When you graduate DJ 103 you will be able to perform at several public venues in a 2x4 exchange, mixing your own personal music. Mixing is improvisational versus pre-planned.

What you'll learn
Mic skills, round robin/DJ 2x4 Session, live performance skills, crate building, organizing/preparing songs, digging for music, introducing Pioneer DJM 800 and CDJ mixing techniques, faderless scratch techniques, crossfader clicking and scratch pattern structure/phrasing.

Advanced 103
Advanced 103 Students will go on a live gig as a DJ with our sister company Texas Professional Disc Jockey.  Students will be required to setup and tear down gear and remain for the entire event.  This is designed to give real world experience and on the job training.  Allowing the students to mix is at the discretion of the instructor.  On these events there are usually dress codes, your Instructor will let you know what that is._
