Ableton live is fun, powerful, exciting and elegant.  However, to new users it can be tedious and confounding.  Well, that's why our Ableton 101 class was designed to take you from a beginner to where you are extremely comfortable with the software.  Our curriculum is rock solid and we would love to teach you the tips, tricks and more.

Our Instructor

Joseph Cerimeli, aka Pailo, has been working in the music scene for the past fourteen years and is a certified Ableton Instructor.  A graduate from the University of Pittsburgh, Pailo likes to "try any style of music with Live." He has performed with Walkingstick, Soulslinger, TC Izlam, Danny the Wildchild, Dieselboy, Craze, Zemo, Product 19, Radar, Odi, Z-trip, Tez, Saburuko, Bassmonkey, Irene, DJ 7up, and Depth, to name a few. 

Pailo has used Live since version 4 and has been teaching it since version 5. He works closely with professional and consumer studios setting up Live. "Setting up systems and helping people is what Ableton inspires me to do every day. Live is my favorite tool for sampling, tracking, mixing, and mastering."

Pailo teaches basic studio setup, MIDI 101, ReWire, Live with Reason (Record), DJing, Production, and Live Performance. He enjoys helping students discover that Live can do more than they expect. "That's what keeps me motivated to learn and to teach." He prefers one-on-one teaching, and custom classes for bands.
